About the filmmakers  

Rami Younis is a Palestinian filmmaker, writer, and journalist from Lyd. Younis currently hosts a daily news show called 'On the Other Hand' on Israel's national broadcasting corporation's Arabic channel. The show exposes fake news and counters misinformation about Israeli Palestinian residents. Rami is also co-founder and manager of the first ever “Palestine Music Expo” – an event that connects the local Palestinian music scene to the worldwide industry. 

Sarah Friedland is a filmmaker and artist rooted in creative nonfiction. She is also an educator and the Director of the John B. Moore Documentary Collaborative at Skidmore College. Sarah was named one of the “Top 10 Independent Filmmakers to Watch” by the Independent Magazine. She co-directed Lyd with Rami Younes.
